Walter "Sonny" Francis Becker, 89, of Franklin Grove, IL, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Franklin Grove Living and Rehabilitation Center. He worked as a Laborer for the Local Union.
Walter was born on November 12, 1935, in Amboy, IL, the son of Walter and Florence (Warkins) Becker. He proudly served in the United States Army. Walter was patriotic and proud of his service. He liked horses and cowboys...many say he may have even been a cowboy himself. Walter was a comedian & jokester, an avid reader, loved playing his guitar & singing, and enjoyed sharing both the gospel & God's word to others - his relationship with the Lord was of utmost importance to him. He will be missed and remembered dearly.
