Thomas Edwin Hodgson Born: September 6, 1937 in Thompsonville, IL Died: March 17, 2025 in Rock Falls, Illinois Thomas Edwin Hodgson, 87, of Rock Falls passed away peacefully surrounded by family at his home. Thomas was born September 6, 1937 in Thompsonville IL, the son of William and Mildred (McClerren) Hodgson. He married Carolyn Goad on December 21, 1963 in West Frankfort IL. Thomas served in the United States Air Force for 8 years, spending 3 of those years in Germany, and one in Alaska. He worked for Northwestern Steel & Wire for 32 years until his retirement. Survivors include his wife Carolyn; one son Timothy (Traci) Hodgson; one daughter Lori Hodgson; two grand-daughters Samantha Williams, and Sydney Williams; two great-grandchildren Emma Williams, and Jonah Johnson. Thomas was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Joan Pickering; and one brother Jerry Hodgson. Visitation will be from 1PM-2PM Friday March 21, 2025 at Schilling Funeral Home & Crematio
