Karen J. Port Born: July 23, 1951 Died: August 14, 2024 Karen J. Port, 73 of Sterling died Wednesday August 14, 2024 at her home. She was born on July 23, 1951 in Sterling, the daughter of Everett F. and Barbara G. (Pollock) Anderson. She attended Sterling Schools. Karen married James L. Port on June 26, 1970 in Morrison. She was a member of Bethel Reformed Church in Sterling. Karen enjoyed baking and decorating birthday cakes for her children and grandchildren. Family time was of utmost importance to her. Survivors include her husband Jim; daughter Nicole (Jeff) Adams; son Derek (Samantha) Port; grandchildren: Cooper, Adelynn and Hunter; sister, Connie Stewart; brothers: Brad (JoAnn) Anderson, Kevin (Lori) Anderson, Gary Anderson (Shelley Lifka) and Cary (Wendy) Anderson; sister in law Karla Anderson and several nieces and nephews.
