She worked as a Production Operator for Borg Warner in Dixon, for over 45 years, before retiring. Cheryl was born on October 27, 1953, in Dixon, IL, the daughter of Harold and Shirley (Bollman) Helfrich. She loved crocheting, knitting, baking, and traveling. Cheryl loved to shop with her good friend Mary Ann, especially if it was for the people she loved. Christmas shopping and finding new cookie jars to add to her mom's collection were some of her favorite pastimes. Cheryl also enjoyed lunches and dinners with her many friends from Borg Warner.
