Curtis G. Floto Born: November 1, 1936 in Rochelle, IL Died: June 26, 2024 in Amboy, IL Curtis G. Floto age 87 of Amboy died Wednesday June 26, 2024 at his home. He was born Nov. 1, 1936 in Rochelle, IL the son of Floyd and Helen (Vogeler) Floto. Curtis had farmed in May Township and had also worked at the Lee County Highway Dept. prior to his retirement in 2000. He was also a member of the Lee County Sheriff Department Auxiliary. He loved his John Deere tractors and was an avid Chicago Bears and Cubs Fan. He married Dorothy Gascoigne March 30, 1957 in Sublette, IL. She preceded him in death Feb. 24, 2015. He was also preceded in death by his parents, step father Clint Bonnell, step mother Ruth Floto, and one brother Virgil Floto, Curtis is survived by one daughter Karen Blaine of Dixon, 3 grandchildren Rachel (Chris) VanHorn, Sarah Johnson, Jason (Kim) Kettley, 7 great grandchildren Katie, DessaRea, Owen, Bryan, Dalton, Ethan, Nathaniel, 5 great grandchildren Bentley, Isabella, Hazel
