Aaron E. Mossholder age 90 of Dixon died Monday June 24, 2024, at Heritage Square in Dixon. He was born April 15, 1934, in Dixon to Harriet Mossholder Snapp. Aaron spent all of his formative years living with his grandmother Carrie (Lowrey) Mossholder on Dixon's north side. He attended and graduated the old North Central School and Dixon High School. Following the death of his grandmother, Aaron enlisted in the Marine Corps and served 3 years, 1953 to 1955 including 18 months in Korea during the war. After his discharge from the military, he returned to the Dixon area and worked as a driver for Rock River Ready Mix for some time and as a semi delivery driver for Raynor Manufacturing. He loved driving all over the country, meeting many wonderful customers and seeing many great places, he loved the road but retired in 1997 to stay on the farm and involve himself in a huge yard and all the other projects.
